Tata Communications announced that Smart ICT Services has communicated to the Company that the board of Smart ICT has approved transfer of 5% of its equity share capital held by Centios Co to Tata Communications. Prior to this transfer, Tata Communications was holding 19% of the paid-up equity capital of Smart ICT which has now increased to 24% and consequently Smart ICT has now become an associate of the Company.
Smart ICT has been awarded a contract by the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City to design, finance, establish, install, test, commission and operate and maintain the ICT in GIFT City.

Tata Communications announced the first challenge of the 2015 F1? Connectivity Innovation Prize. The goal of the USD $50,000 prize, launched last year, is to inspire technical visionaries and creative minds worldwide to harness innovation in Formula 1? racing through two technology challenges.
The first challenge has been set by the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One? Team and unveiled by their driver Lewis Hamilton, the 2014 FIA Formula One? Drivers` World Champion and also a judge on the prize panel. The challenge is to design a new approach for displaying critical race car telemetry and sensor data, such as tyre degradation and temperature, airflow, aerodynamics, throttle, brake and oil temperature, and movements inside the gear box, for use on the pit wall, in the garage and at the team headquarters during track sessions. The aim is to help give the team a competitive advantage by empowering engineers on the pitwall at the race track as well as at the factory in the UK, to make more accurate decisions through the visualisation of big data analytics in real-time.
The second challenge will be set by Formula One Management in August.
The Grand Prize of the F1? Connectivity Innovation Prize is a cheque for $50,000 and a bespoke trophy, to be presented to the winner at the end of the season in November. of its American Depositary Shares (ADSs), as evidenced by American
Depositary Receipts (ADRs), under Section 12(g) of the U.S. Securities
Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the Act) and to terminate its reporting
obligations with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC)
under Section 15(d) of the Act.
This is further to the Company`s announcement on 07 June 2013 confirming
the delisting of its ADSs from the New York Stock Exchange effective from
the close of business on 07 June 2013.
The Company expects that this termination of registration will become
effective 90 days after its filing with the SEC. As a result of this
filing, the Company`s reporting obligations with the SEC, including its
obligation to file annual reports on Form 20-F and reports on Form 6-K,
will be suspended immediately.

global platform that will engage international brainpower against the
demanding backdrop of Formula 1. racing. By assembling an unprecedented
calibre of Formula 1. judges and a coveted USD $50,000 prize fund, the
prize will foster and reward innovative and creative thinking in
The prize will catalyse next-generation technologies based around a series
of three challenges announced over the course of the 2014 FIA Formula One
World Championship`. The initiative will encourage entrants to test their
creative and technical knowledge by expressing how they would solve real-
world challenges for Formula 1. racing. Additional prizes will include VIP
trips to the 2015 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO.
