PBM Polytex Limited, based in Vadodara, will seek shareholder approval at its upcoming meeting to address the future of its four wind mill undertakings, with lease agreements and Power Purchase Agreements expiring in 2027. The company, which reported for the year ending March 31, 2026, is considering options to either renew these agreements or sell, scrap, or slump-sale the assets, currently valued at Rs. 123,65,546. Managing Directors Gopal Patodia and Mohan Kumar Patodia, both with decades of experience in the textile industry, are up for reappointment, alongside Independent Director Amishal Modi. The board also proposes authorizing charitable contributions up to Rs. 18,00,000, and directors Patodia and Kumar Patodia hold significant shareholdings of 27,369 and 67,998 shares respectively.

PBM Polytex Ltd share price slipped 0.69% to Rs 57.8 after the company`s net profit tanked by 242.34% to Rs 1.95 crore, while revenue from operations reduced 18.99% to Rs 38.85 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26.
The market capitalization of Other Textile Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.65 lakh crore, gaining 2.41%. It has softened by 1.33% over last one week and rallied by 15.04% in last one month while the market capitalization of PBM Polytex Ltd has eased by 8.09% and 1.38% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of PBM Polytex Ltd stood at Rs 2.61 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 237.37% year-on-year, and crashing by 248.30% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3 crore, tanking 277.99% YoY and plunging by 216.94% sequentially.

For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations eased 8.02% to Rs 176.21 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 31.16% to Rs 4.44 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 1382% to Rs 5.79 crore, and PBT collapsed by 30.47% to Rs 5.98 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 5.61 crore in FY26, as against Rs 11.18 crore in FY25.
PBM Polytex Ltd nosedived by 20.17% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
