Murudeshwar Ceramics Ltd share price remained flat to Rs 31.49 after the company`s net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 43.84% to Rs 0.82 crore, while revenue from operations nosedived 20.04% to Rs 50.09 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Ceramics industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 24186.78 crore, declining 4.22%. It has marginally improved by 2% over last one week and heading higher by 9.62% in last one month while the market capitalization of Murudeshwar Ceramics Ltd has inched up 0.23% and 1.59% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Murudeshwar Ceramics Ltd stood at Rs 2.39 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 22.56% year-on-year, and tumbling by 38.56% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 10 crore, jumping 19.90% YoY and surging by 43.81% sequentially. Total expenses saw a steep drop of 23.20% to Rs 44.38 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 9.7 crore, growing marginally by 9.85% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 7.66 crore, plunging by 17.10% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 8.88% to Rs 202.86 crore, while net profit soared by 93.37% to Rs 9.92 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 2714% to Rs 29.69 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 4% to Rs 11.95 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 28.69 crore in FY26, as against Rs 30.96 crore in FY25. Murudeshwar Ceramics Ltd tumbled by 25.99% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.04% during the same period.
