Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd share price declined by 0.41% to Rs 4900.0 after the company`s net profit plunged by 62.12% to Rs 1589.66 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 60.44% to Rs 5515.17 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Aerospace & Defense industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 8.38 lakh crore, tumbling by 47.53%. It has marginally improved by 3.88% over last one week and crept higher by 4.04% in last one month while the market capitalization of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd has improved by 6.14% and 6.28% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd stood at Rs 2134.33 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 15.10% year-on-year, and crashing by 61.78% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 627 crore, expanding by 17.04% YoY and plunging by 83.97% sequentially. Total expenses saw a steep drop of 54.90% to Rs 4292.34 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2777.21 crore, registering a fall of 77.08% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 1523.93 crore, dropping 11.63% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 6.80% to Rs 33088.82 crore, while net profit saw a mild growth of 8.98% to Rs 9115.52 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 705988% to Rs 6070.7 crore, and PBT rose 11.82% to Rs 12151.93 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 10906.38 crore in FY26, as against Rs 13643.46 crore in FY25. Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd jumped 10.21% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.04% during the same period.
