The board of NHPC at its meeting held on 14 April 2026 has approved the proposal for monetization of future cash flow (Return on Equity) of Uri-II & Dhauliganga Power Stations or any other power station(s) for 10 years in single tranche during F.Y. 2026-27.

NHPC will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 14 April 2026.

NHPC announced that an Implementation Agreement has been signed between NHPC and Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDCL) for development of the 240 MW Uri-I Stage-II and 260 MW Dulhasti Stage-II Hydroelectric Projects in UT of Jammu & Kashmir on 27.03.2026 at Jammu.
