SBEC Sugar Ltd share price declined by 0.21% to Rs 72.23 after the company`s net profit tumbled by 89.90% to Rs 9.15 crore, while revenue from operations nosedived 37.69% to Rs 99.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. Profit before tax (PBT) of SBEC Sugar Ltd stood at Rs 9.15 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 135.12% year-on-year, and crashing by 89.98% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 7 crore, plunging by 156.50% YoY and tumbling by 63.21% sequentially. Total expenses saw a steep drop of 32.32% to Rs 95.46 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1.57 crore, slumping by 99.27% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 4.09 crore, collapsing by 39.32% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations softened by 3.67% to Rs 630.48 crore, while net profit tanked by 1557.58% to Rs 48.1 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 4096% to Rs 39.37 crore, and PBT surged 3123.68% to Rs 49.0 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 70.08 crore in FY26, as against Rs 47.29 crore in FY25. SBEC Sugar Ltd jumped 82.40% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.05% during the same period.
