SBI Funds Management Limited, a joint venture between SBI and AMUNDI, announced that the board meeting of SBI Funds Management Limited and SBI Mutual Fund Trustee Company Private Limited approved the extension of the term of M/s. Chhajed & Doshi as the internal auditor of the company from April 1, 2028 to March 31, 2030.

SBI Funds Management Ltd share price declined by 1.69% to Rs 463.8 after the company`s net profit tumbled by 20.34% to Rs 701.24 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 3.46% to Rs 1192.67 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26. The market capitalization of Asset Management Company industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 4.99 lakh crore, declining 0.97%. It has eased by 7.94% over last one week and collapsed sharply by 15.09% in last one month while the market capitalization of SBI Funds Management Ltd has softened by 8.58% and 21.01% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of SBI Funds Management Ltd stood at Rs 941.01 crore in Q3 FY26, falling 14.89% year-on-year, and tumbling by 18.22% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 862 crore, jumping 88.39% YoY and surging by 26.19% sequentially. Total expenses surged 23.19% to Rs 301.18 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 131.31 crore, soaring 25.24% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 22.01% to Rs 4389.49 crore, while net profit surged by 20.76% to Rs 3067.38 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 213039% to Rs 2876.09 crore, and PBT rose 18.97% to Rs 4019.81 crore compared to previous TTM.

SBI Funds Management Limited informed the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited that it received a request from State Bank of India, the company’s Promoter, to reclassify Indian Digital Payment Intelligence Corporation from the ‘Promoter Group’ category to the ‘Public’ category, in accordance with Regulation 31A of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, noting that the entity does not hold any shares in SBI Funds Management Limited.

SBI Funds Management Limited will hold a board meeting on Friday, October 23, 2026, to consider and approve unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. The trading window for securities of the company has been closed for designated persons from October 1, 2026, and will remain closed until October 25, 2026, according to a regulatory filing.

SBI Funds Management Limited announced the appointment of Mr. R.S. Srinivas Jain as Joint Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective October 13, 2026, based on a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Jain, previously Executive President, Chief of Strategy, Digital & Technology, Marketing and Head of Investor Relations at SBI Funds Management Limited since May 7, 2001, brings over 34 years of experience in the BFSI sector, including 27 years in the mutual fund industry. The company also listed the revised list of Key Managerial Personnel, including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Debasish Mishra and Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Denys Charles Jean Marie Fougeroux De Campigneulles.
