Hind Rectifiers Ltd consolidated sales down 7.64% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit plunged by 508.81%,
Hind Rectifiers Ltd share price declined by 1.81% to Rs 1290.35 after the company`s net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 508.81% to Rs 6.5 crore, while revenue from operations softened by 7.64% to Rs 258.45 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26.
The market capitalization of Industrial Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.79 lakh crore, gaining 5.05%. It has improved by 2.90% over last one week and rallied by 37.57% in last one month while the market capitalization of Hind Rectifiers Ltd has slipped by 2.36% and 51.39% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Hind Rectifiers Ltd stood at Rs 11.63 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 35.75% year-on-year, and surging by 1268.24% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 9 crore, tumbling by 62.96% YoY and jumping 21.12% sequentially.
Total expenses slightly declined by 9.20% to Rs 249.94 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 218.03 crore, growing marginally by 6.37% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 40.8 crore, inching up 4% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations surged 52.45% to Rs 999.13 crore, while net profit saw a mild growth of 4.02% to Rs 38.6 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 7317% to Rs 82.42 crore, and PBT inched up 7.58% to Rs 53.91 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 85.81 crore in FY26, as against Rs 35.63 crore in FY25.
Hind Rectifiers Ltd jumped 37.70% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.56% during the same period.

Hirect secures its first development order for Vande Metro trainset,
Hirect (Formerly known as Hind Rectifiers ) has secured its first development order for Vande Metro (Namo Bharat) trainset from Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, marking a significant milestone in the Company`s expansion into advanced railway technologies for next-generation rolling stock. Vande Metro is a self-propelled, fully air conditioned 16-coach trainset operating on intercity routes up to 250 km, with operational speeds up to 130 kmph. The order, valued at approximately Rs 60 crore, involves the Design, Development, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of an IGBT-based 3-phase propulsion system, Traction Transformers, Traction Motors, TCMS (Train Control and Management System) and other equipment. This order includes a comprehensive annual maintenance contract for the entire system. The order is expected to be executed over a period of 21 months.

Hirect secures its maiden order for MEMU trainsets,
Hirect (Formerly known as Hind Rectifiers) has secured its maiden order for Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) trainsets from MCF, marking a significant milestone in the Company`s strategic evolution from a component manufacturer to a provider of integrated railway systems. The development order, valued at approximately Rs 60 crore, involves the supply of complete Propulsion Systems for 4 MEMU trainsets, including Traction Transformers, Traction Motors, Complete Propulsion System with TCMS (Train Control and Management System). The order is expected to be executed over a period of 24 months.
