Ucal Ltd share price softened by 1.44% to Rs 116.0 after the company`s net profit tanked by 144.41% to Rs 5.84 crore, while revenue from operations reduced 12.99% to Rs 203.15 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.73 lakh crore, rising 4.36%. It has inched up 3.14% over last one week and jumped by 19.64% in last one month while the market capitalization of Ucal Ltd has eased by 1.94% and 13.62% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Ucal Ltd stood at Rs 7.9 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 265.97% year-on-year, and plunging by 170.41% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 18 crore, jumping 141.67% YoY and gaining 7.80% sequentially. Total expenses contracted by 15.46% to Rs 189.96 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 110.69 crore, inching up 1.23% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 21.26 crore, tanking by 43.23% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 10.94% to Rs 802.29 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 35.55% to Rs 16.28 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 3494% to Rs 17.57 crore, and PBT slipped by 4.63% to Rs 8.44 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 14.61 crore in FY26, as against Rs 38.95 crore in FY25. Ucal Ltd crashed 18.99% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.83% during the same period.
