Elgi Equipments Ltd share price inched up 0.44% to Rs 575.6. The Company`s net profit contracted by 19.30% to Rs 103.3 crore, while revenue from operations softened by 4.53% to Rs 1062.2 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Compressors, Pumps & Diesel Engines industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.64 lakh crore, declining 3.86%. It has slipped by 1.84% over last one week and moved up slightly by 2.23% in last one month while the market capitalization of Elgi Equipments Ltd has eased by 2.34% and 10.12% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Elgi Equipments Ltd stood at Rs 139.5 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 18.52% year-on-year, and dropping 14.84% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 135 crore, jumping 33.04% YoY and retreating 11.25% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 3.30% to Rs 931.6 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 422.0 crore, easing 2.34% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 208.5 crore, ticking higher by 3.47% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 12.54% to Rs 3950.7 crore, while net profit jumped 22.88% to Rs 430.2 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 47590% to Rs 461.3 crore, and PBT rose 19.89% to Rs 577.4 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 453.5 crore in FY26, as against Rs 390.9 crore in FY25. Elgi Equipments Ltd surged by 11.08% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.

Elgi Equipments will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 13 August 2026.
