Bharat Mohta disclosed to the BSE Limited the acquisition of 91,60,200 equity shares, representing 14.319%, of The Indian Wood Products Co Ltd on August 24, 2026, through an inter-se transfer from Savita Mohta, which involved no consideration. The acquisition qualifies for an exemption under Regulation 10(1)(a)(ii) of SEBI’s Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers Regulations, 2011, and a prior disclosure was made under Regulation 10(5) on August 17, 2026. Following the transaction, Bharat Mohta’s shareholding increased from 76,37,530 shares, representing 11.939%, to 16,797,730 shares, representing 26.258%.

EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 1266% to Rs 15.21 crore, and PBT soared 54.27% to Rs 6.68 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 13.7 crore in FY26, as against Rs 9.89 crore in FY25. The Indian Wood Products Company Ltd tumbled by 13.42% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.05% during the same period.
