Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd share price tumbled by 8.52% to Rs 2186.7. The Company`s net profit saw a strong growth of 60.95% to Rs 109.85 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 97.81% to Rs 503.58 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Transport Related Services industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 12019.05 crore, expanding by 60.85%. It has slipped by 1.72% over last one week and surged by 16.73% in last one month while the market capitalization of Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd has declined by 10.42% and 55.91% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd stood at Rs 148.14 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 1451.20% year-on-year, and surging by 60.81% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 162 crore, rallying 1228.40% YoY and surging by 55.79% sequentially. Total expenses surged 126.07% to Rs 342.7 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 268.03 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 131.40% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 13.93 crore, witnessing a strong rise of 47.56% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations witnessed a strong growth of 868.21% to Rs 189.77 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 287.38% to Rs 50.05 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 2469% to Rs 39.36 crore, and PBT collapsed by 221.31% to Rs 32.51 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 14.55 crore in FY26, as against Rs 71.63 crore in FY25. Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd surged by 92.35% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.

Kernex Microsystems (India) announced that Integral Coach Factory, Chennai has awarded an order valued at Rs. 100.53 crore to the company for the supply, installation, interfacing with Electrics of Trainset, testing and commissioning of On-board KAVACH Equipment as per ROSO Specification No. ROSOISPNIJ 9612020, Version 4.0 or latest Trainset (Including Warranty and CAMC).

Kernex Microsystems (India) announced that the company-built Kavach Version 4.0 has been successfully commissioned on the 207 km Tundla-Panki Dham section of the North Central Railway. As reported by Indian Railways, the upgraded Kavach Version 4.0 supports train operations at speeds of up to 130 kmph (in the newly commissioned 207 route kilometres). With this, the total Kavach Version 4.0 coverage in the North Central Railway has increased to 652 route kilometres, of which 572 route kilometres have been executed by KERNEX.The Company is further pleased to inform that the Kavach Version 4.0 system executed by KERNEX has successfully demonstrated support for train operations at speeds of up to 160 kmph over an executed section of 175 route kilometres, showcasing Kernex`s readiness to support India`s ambitious vision for high-speed rail modernization. The commissioning involved successful trial runs using the Kanpur Shatabdi Express and Sikkim Mahananda Express equipped with the Kernex-built Kavach system. The project also achieved successful integration with the Hitachi Electronic Interlocking System without any operational issues, demonstrating the robustness and interoperability of the Company`s indigenous Kavach solution.The project includes Kavach installations at 39 stations, commissioning of 10 W AP-7 locomotives, installation of more than 4,600 RFID tags, construction of 17 communication towers, laying of 48-corc optical fibre cable, and establishment of 30 dedicated equipment rooms. Prior to commissioning, the system successfully underwent extensive testing and validation by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (ROSa), North Central Railway and Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) by Italcertifier, Italy.

Net profit of Kernex Microsystems (India) rose 109.45% to Rs 68.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 32.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 206.46% to Rs 254.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 83.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.For the full year,net profit rose 75.84% to Rs 88.34 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 50.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.
