EPL Ltd share price gained 1.28% to Rs 229.0 after the company`s net profit softened by 2.61% to Rs 100.6 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 6.72% to Rs 1387.9 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Packaging industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 44294.72 crore, advancing by 10.19%. It has marginally improved by 1.76% over last one week and soared by 17.80% in last one month while the market capitalization of EPL Ltd has inched up 0.69% and 0.74% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of EPL Ltd stood at Rs 128.9 crore in Q2 FY26, rising 9.89% year-on-year, and rising by 11.51% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 258 crore, jumping 17.73% YoY and gaining 4.12% sequentially. Total expenses grew marginally by 7.65% to Rs 1236.1 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 611.1 crore, increasing 11.66% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 279.7 crore, improving by 9.77% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 7.59% to Rs 4213.3 crore, while net profit surged by 73.16% to Rs 363.8 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 66380% to Rs 792.3 crore, and PBT soared 57.10% to Rs 421.5 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 795.1 crore in FY26, as against Rs 586.5 crore in FY25. EPL Ltd ticked higher by 1.13% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.56% during the same period.

EPL will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 11 August 2026.

EPL has allotted commercial paper worth Rs 60 crore on 29 July 2026 with maturity date of 27 October 2026.

EPL has invested a further amount of 4,95,00,000 Thai Baht (equivalent to Rs. 14.45 crore) in it wholly owned subsidiary, EPL Packaging (Thailand) Co.

Net profit of EPL declined 9.97% to Rs 102.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 114.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 17.65% to Rs 1300.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 1105.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.For the full year,net profit rose 8.33% to Rs 388.90 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 359.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.
