The company`s board previously recommended a dividend of 450%, or Rs 9 per equity share, for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM, with a record date of September 4, 2026, and payment expected on or before October 27, 2026.

Finolex Cables Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Nirnoy Sur as Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, and General Manager - Legal, effective August 11, 2026, following a recommendation by the Nomination & Remuneration Committee. Mr. Sur, who holds a law degree from Pune University and a commerce degree from Dibrugarh University, previously served as Company Secretary & Head – Legal at Kingfa Science & Technology (India) Limited, a company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange.

Finolex Cables Limited announced the re-appointment of Vanessa Singh, Zubin Billimoria, and Sriraman Raghuraman as Independent Directors, and Ratnakar Barve as a Whole-time Director, for a second term of five years, subject to shareholder approval. The appointments, effective September 30, 2026, were approved at a board meeting held on August 11, 2026, and detailed disclosures are included in an annexure filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India.

Finolex Cables Ltd share price inched up 3.59% to Rs 1058.8 after the company`s net profit expanded by 10.97% to Rs 249.04 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 3.18% to Rs 2013.15 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Cables - Electricals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.33 lakh crore, declining 2.93%. It has improved by 2.95% over last one week and moving up by 13.66% in last one month while the market capitalization of Finolex Cables Ltd has marginally improved by 6.50% and 1.79% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Finolex Cables Ltd stood at Rs 314.46 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 55.25% year-on-year, and rising 3.65% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 193 crore, expanding by 134.25% YoY and jumping 30.40% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 0.18% to Rs 1790.53 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1834.43 crore, posting a minor increase of 8.20% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 55.48 crore, surging 21.64% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 6.07% to Rs 5318.89 crore, while net profit grew slightly 7.53% to Rs 700.77 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 41463% to Rs 343.86 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 6.79% to Rs 922.45 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 207.25 crore in FY26, as against Rs 576.9 crore in FY25. Finolex Cables Ltd jumped 25.47% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.56% during the same period.
