Adani Power Limited informed the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited that its members approved resolutions at an Extraordinary General Meeting on August 14, 2026, including an increase in borrowing limits up to Rs 100,000 crore, creation of a mortgage/charge on properties, conversion of loan into equity, and the raising of funds up to Rs 15,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares or other eligible securities via a Qualified Institutional Placement or other permissible mode.

Adani Power announced that an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company will be held on 14 August 2026.

Net profit of Adani Power rose 41.98% to Rs 4805.69 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against Rs 3384.86 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025. The board of Adani Power at its meeting held on 22 July 2026 has approved fund raising up to Rs 15,000 crore by way of QIP issue. The board also approved increase in borrowing limits from Rs 75,000 crore to Rs 1,00,000 crore.

Adani Power has signed a 25-year Power Supply Agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for supply of 1600 MW power on long term basis from a 2x800 MW Ultra-Supercritical Thermal power plant to be established under Design, Build, Finance, Own & Operate (DBFOO) basis. The coal linkage for the power plant has been allocated under the SHAKTI Policy of Government of India.
