Greaves Cotton Limited announced it has acquired the remaining 20% shareholding in Excel Controlinkage Private Limited through a secondary route, increasing its stake to 100% and making Excel a wholly owned subsidiary, effective August 13, 2026. The acquisition, in accordance with a definitive agreement dated April 6, 2023, follows previous announcements regarding the proposed acquisition in February 2023.

Net profit of Greaves Cotton declined 22.12% to Rs 25.77 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against Rs 33.09 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025.
