RailTel Corporation of India announced the termination of contract worth Rs 26.72 crore awarded by South East Central Railway. The company has decided not to execute the work order as the project cost has become unviable due to the prevailing war situation and the consequent steep increase in the prices of OFC, HDPE pipes and other materials. Consequently, customer has terminated the contract awarded to RailTel.

Railtel Corporation of India has received awarded the work from Ministry of Railways for provision of AI-based surveillance system at New Delhi Railway Station.

RailTel Corporation of India has received the purchase order worth Rs 24.91 crore from The New India Assurance Company for  the procurement of AI/ML based solution for monitoring and investigation of fraud, waste & abuse of health insurance claims.

RailTel Corporation of India has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) from Additional Commissioner For Transport, Enforcement (South) for ITMS project for transport department of Govt. of Karnataka. The estimated contract value is Rs 49.67 crore.

Railtel Corporation of India announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 30 April 2026, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 1.25 per equity Share (i.e. 12.5%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.
