Jagran Prakashan Ltd share price inched up 0.95% to Rs 63.59 after the company`s net profit surged by 910.40% to Rs 61.23 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 5.77% to Rs 499.35 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Print Media industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 7294.9 crore, improving 10.56%. Profit before tax (PBT) of Jagran Prakashan Ltd stood at Rs 81.02 crore in Q2 FY26, retreating 10.35% year-on-year, and jumping 151.15% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 38 crore, surging by 210.79% YoY and heading higher 11.27% sequentially. Total expenses softened by 0.53% to Rs 446.74 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 132.05 crore, soaring by 25.36% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 112.44 crore, expanding by 9.29% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 2.37% to Rs 1888.13 crore, while net profit plunged by 43.05% to Rs 93.93 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 17677% to Rs 54.96 crore, and PBT collapsed by 38.71% to Rs 136.61 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 223.94 crore in FY26, as against Rs 296.87 crore in FY25. Jagran Prakashan Ltd nosedived by 12.31% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.04% during the same period.

Jagran Prakashan has postponed the meeting of the Board of Directors which was scheduled to be held on 31 July 2026. The meeting will now be held on 12 August 2026.
