Vodafone Idea Limited, an Aditya Birla Group & Vodafone partnership, announced the appointment of Ms. Gopika Pant as an Additional Director, qualifying as an Independent Woman Director, with effect from September 17, 2026, for a term of five years, subject to member approval. The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors on September 14, 2026, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and a Postal Ballot Notice will be sent to members to seek approval for the appointment of both Mr. Anil Berera and Ms. Gopika Pant as Independent Directors.

Vodafone Idea will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 10 August 2026.

Vodafone Idea has acquired 26% equity stake in MTK Quantum Green Energy, a special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose of owning and operating the captive power plant by investing Rs. 4.33 crore.
