DCM Shriram Limited announced that shareholders approved the appointments of Justice (Retd.) Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Ms. Rumjhum Chatterjee as Additional Independent Directors at the company`s 37th Annual General Meeting on August 18, 2026, with both appointments effective from August 9, 2026, for a term of five consecutive years. Justice Kaul, who holds DIN 10670291, previously served as a Judge of the Delhi High Court, Punjab & Haryana High Court, and Madras High Court, and as a Judge of the Supreme Court. Ms. Chatterjee, holding DIN 00283824, is a Co-Founder & Managing Trustee of The Infravision Foundation and was previously involved with the Feedback Infra Group.

DCM Shriram will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 28 July 2026.

DCM Shriram has entered into a definitive agreement with Serentica Renewables India 38 for the development of a 58 MW peak hybrid renewable energy power project, primarily for its energy-intensive business in Bharuch, Gujarat. Upon completion, DCM Shriram`s total renewable energy capacity will rise to 176 MW (peak) across it two sites in Bharuch & Kota, significantly expanding its clean energy base. The project is expected to be commissioned by June 2027. Under the agreement, DCM Shriram will invest up to Rs. 105 crore in one or more tranches to acquire a minimum 26% equity stake in Serentica Renewables India 38.

The board of DCM Shriram at its meeting held on 19 June 2026 has approved equity investment of up to Rs 18 crore in one or more tranches (taking the total investment to Rs 105 crore) for obtaining additional 10 MW renewable power supply (taking total renewable power supply to 58 MW) thereby increasing Bharuch Plant`s total Renewable Power supply to ~ 108 MW.
