Lux Industries Ltd consolidated sales down 30.50% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 51.12%,
Lux Industries Ltd share price declined by 0.55% to Rs 1207.75 after the company`s net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 51.12% to Rs 23.1 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 30.50% to Rs 603.99 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Garments & Apparels industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 90029.82 crore, slipping 6.15%. It has eased by 4.31% over last one week and moving up by 8.77% in last one month while the market capitalization of Lux Industries Ltd has softened by 4.73% and 11.62% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Lux Industries Ltd stood at Rs 30.27 crore in Q2 FY26, declining 0.69% year-on-year, and crashing by 46.58% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 35 crore, jumping 34.54% YoY and nosediving by 33.30% sequentially. Total expenses saw a steep drop of 29.64% to Rs 574.65 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 304.94 crore, softening by 9.97% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 48.93 crore, ticking higher by 4.80% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 11.06% to Rs 2570.25 crore, while net profit surged by 31% to Rs 164.54 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 17373% to Rs 205.91 crore, and PBT surged 28.12% to Rs 220.66 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 80.52 crore in FY26, as against Rs 239.6 crore in FY25. Lux Industries Ltd declined 5.27% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.05% during the same period.

Lux Cozi Group lays foundation stone for new Rs 600-cr manufacturing facility at Dankuni, West Bengal,
Lux Cozi Group (Vertical `A` of Lux Industries) marked a landmark milestone in its growth journey on 11 July 2026 with the foundation stone laying of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Dankuni, West Bengal. With a planned investment of approximately Rs 600 crore, the project represents one of the largest manufacturing investments in the company`s history and is set to establish one of Asia`s largest garment manufacturing hubs. The company will expand its existing 8 lakh sq. ft. Dankuni facility by another 12 lakh sq. ft., creating a massive 20 lakh sq. ft. manufacturing campus. Once fully operational, this highly automated facility will set new benchmarks in production efficiency and scale, cementing the Lux Cozi Group`s position as one of the leading Indian apparel manufacturer across the world.
