HBL Engineering announced that Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) has issued Letter of Acceptance to HBL for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of On-board KAVACH Loco equipment (Ver.4.0) worth Rs.1,714 crore (Excluding 18% GST).

HBL Engineering announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 23 May 2026, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 1 per equity Share (i.e. 100%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Net profit of HBL Engineering rose 41.79% to Rs 63.75 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 44.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 27.03% to Rs 604.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 475.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.For the full year,net profit rose 194.27% to Rs 814.89 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 276.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. Sales rose 67.89% to Rs 3302.83 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 1967.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. HBL Engineering has accepted an order worth Rs.83.81 (Inclusive of 18% GST) from Patiala Loco Works (PLW), Punjab for supply, testing and commissioning of On-board KAVACH equipment (Ver.4.0).
