Rail Vikas Nigam has received Letter of Award of contract from NMDC for Setting up of Buffer Stockpiles & Blending Yard of 10 MTPA handling capacity at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. The order is valued at Rs 2977 crore including GST@ 18%.

Rail Vikas Nigam has received LOA from East Coast Railway for �3rd and 4th line between Nergundi Barang (22Km) and Khurda Road-Vizianagaram (363Km) on Bhadrak- Vizianagaram section (385Km): Construction of important Bridge nos. 539 (16x30.5m Open Web Steel Girder over river Birupa at ch.402521m), 544 (32x65.84m Open Web Steel Girder over river Mahanadi at ch.406305m), 553 (18x45.70m Open Web Steel Girder over river Kathjori at ch.411589m), 557 (20x45.70m Open Web Steel Girder over river Kuakhai at ch.414607m) on EPC mode.� The contract is valued at Rs 967.92 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 25 May 2026, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 0.71 per equity Share (i.e. 7.1%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Net profit of Rail Vikas Nigam declined 58.92% to Rs 187.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 455.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 4.18% to Rs 6695.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 6427.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.For the full year,net profit declined 31.54% to Rs 874.70 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 1277.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. Sales rose 2.45% to Rs 20412.12 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 19923.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.
