CIE Automotive India Limited announced it has acquired 69,40,000 fully paid-up equity shares of Rs 10 each in its wholly owned subsidiary, CIE Hosur Limited, for a total consideration of Rs 120,75,60,000, or Rs 174 per share. The acquisition, completed on a rights basis, will be used by CIE Hosur for repayment of intercorporate loans, capital expenditure, and general corporate purposes, and CIE Automotive India Limited will continue to beneficially hold 100% shareholding of CIE Hosur Limited.

Net profit of CIE Automotive India rose 15.77% to Rs 235.62 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against Rs 203.53 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025.
