Profit before tax (PBT) of Kaveri Seed Company Ltd stood at Rs 284.02 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 15.05% year-on-year, and tumbling by 1153.88% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 290 crore, retreating 11.63% YoY and plunging by 1415.14% sequentially. Total expenses jumped by 230.65% to Rs 462.12 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 303.66 crore, jumping 46.07% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 44.64 crore, soaring 14.81% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 4.93% to Rs 1204.97 crore, while net profit eased 5.87% to Rs 282.28 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 23343% to Rs 244.64 crore, and PBT dipped slightly 7.34% to Rs 297.22 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 196.91 crore in FY26, as against Rs 389.42 crore in FY25. Kaveri Seed Company Ltd nosedived by 28.56% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.83% during the same period.
