Juniper Hotels to acquire Novotel Imagicaa for Rs 248 crore, expanding its portfolio,
Juniper Hotels Limited announced September 16, 2026, that it will acquire Novotel Imagicaa from Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited for Rs 248 crore, approximately $30 million USD. The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, will add the 287-key hotel in Khopoli, Maharashtra, near Mumbai and Pune, to Juniper’s portfolio, which currently includes seven hotels with 1895 keys and 245 serviced apartments. Juniper intends to leverage its asset management expertise to improve the hotel’s performance and capitalize on its strategic location near Imagicaa Theme Park and Water Park, anticipating benefits from leisure, social events, and MICE demand. The transaction will not involve the issuance of new shares and reflects Juniper’s strategy of disciplined capital allocation and selective acquisitions.

Juniper Hotels Ltd consolidated sales down 17.23% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tanked by 33.98%,
Juniper Hotels Ltd share price gained 2.60% to Rs 199.5. The Company`s net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 33.98% to Rs 33.26 crore, while revenue from operations declined 17.23% to Rs 249.53 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26.
The market capitalization of Hotels & Resorts industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.42 lakh crore, nosediving by 17.80%. It has eased by 2.80% over last one week and crept higher by 6.38% in last one month while the market capitalization of Juniper Hotels Ltd has inched up 0.68% and 1.63% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Juniper Hotels Ltd stood at Rs 44.84 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 151.06% year-on-year, and tanking 32.93% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 84 crore, climbing 13.98% YoY and tumbling by 34.38% sequentially.
Total expenses slightly declined by 2.55% to Rs 189.4 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 19.09 crore, marginally falling by 4.07% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 49.86 crore, improving by 7.48% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 10.95% to Rs 1047.68 crore, while net profit surged by 98.64% to Rs 141.61 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 30707% to Rs 401.26 crore, and PBT jumped 27.98% to Rs 191.96 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 393.92 crore in FY26, as against Rs 309.22 crore in FY25.
Juniper Hotels Ltd plunged by 29.58% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.

Board of Juniper Hotels approves acquisition of Juniper Hospitality Assets,
The board of Juniper Hotels at its meeting held on 21 May 2026, has approved the acquisition of 100% of the equity share capital of Juniper Hospitality Assets (JHAPL) from its existing shareholders. Consequent upon the above approval, the company shall enter into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with JHAPL and its existing shareholders to give effect to the acquisition. Upon completion of the acquisition of the Sale Shares, JHAPL will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
