Tata Capital Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.14% to Rs 364.3 after the company`s net profit improved by 11.04% to Rs 1628.18 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 8.11% to Rs 8821.93 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 17.12 lakh crore, gaining 7.10%. It has eased by 0.26% over last one week and rose by 14.71% in last one month while the market capitalization of Tata Capital Ltd has slipped by 2.11% and 18.26% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Tata Capital Ltd stood at Rs 2159.12 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 56.21% year-on-year, and easing 9.13% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 2306 crore, jumping 59.35% YoY and rising 8.99% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 7.79% to Rs 6666.87 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 758.2 crore, ticking higher by 2.82% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 11.40% to Rs 31539.89 crore, while net profit jumped 33.81% to Rs 4890.91 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 534066% to Rs 7053.62 crore, and PBT surged 33.42% to Rs 6562.38 crore compared to previous TTM. Tata Capital Ltd soared by 10.26% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.21% during the same period.

Net profit of Tata Capital rose 56.32% to Rs 1547.38 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against Rs 989.89 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025. Tata Capital has today, 21 July 2026, approved the allotment of USD 400 million 5.332 per cent senior notes due 2030 (Notes) as part of the USD 2 billion medium term note programme established by the Company.

Tata Capital announced that S&P Global Ratings, the credit rating agency, has assigned a rating of `BBB` in relation to the issuance of USD dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes proposed to be issued by the Company under the US$ 2 billion medium term note programme.
