Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd share price inched up 2.77% to Rs 90.5 after the company`s net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 82.61% to Rs 5.94 crore, while revenue from operations increased 16.03% to Rs 206.17 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. Profit before tax (PBT) of Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd stood at Rs 5.94 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 33.85% year-on-year, and plunging by 81.91% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, tanking 115.93% YoY and tumbling by 103.05% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 1.60% to Rs 206.32 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 31.13 crore, slumping by 80.99% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 74.75 crore, surging 34.81% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 8.39% to Rs 930.12 crore, while net profit tanked by 132.07% to Rs 25.06 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 2529% to Rs 5.13 crore, and PBT tumbled by 130.43% to Rs 23.73 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 45.69 crore in FY26, as against Rs 42.51 crore in FY25. Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd nosedived by 20.54% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
