Avanti Feeds Ltd share price inched up 0.77% to Rs 867.55 after the company`s net profit contracted by 16.24% to Rs 116.31 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 29.44% to Rs 1899.86 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Animal Feed industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 30784.06 crore, rallying 29.62%. It has softened by 0.70% over last one week and collapsed sharply by 21.30% in last one month while the market capitalization of Avanti Feeds Ltd has eased by 2.76% and 34.44% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Avanti Feeds Ltd stood at Rs 156.67 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 36.97% year-on-year, and dropping 14.71% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 40 crore, plunging by 75.39% YoY and nosediving by 65.77% sequentially. Total expenses witnessed a sharp rise of 37.21% to Rs 1808.43 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1541.48 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 35.08% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 69.53 crore, tanking by 12.09% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 8.34% to Rs 6065.86 crore, while net profit improved by 17.76% to Rs 655.76 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 46993% to Rs 537.6 crore, and PBT improved 19.40% to Rs 880.27 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 504.62 crore in FY26, as against Rs 584.36 crore in FY25. Avanti Feeds Ltd jumped 30.52% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.83% during the same period.
