Asian Hotels (West) Ltd share price advanced by 5% to Rs 525.1 after the company`s net profit surged by 31.73% to Rs 14.28 crore, while revenue from operations reduced 19.58% to Rs 97.71 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Hotels & Resorts industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.42 lakh crore, tanking 18.38%. It has eased by 2.01% over last one week and crept higher by 6.48% in last one month while the market capitalization of Asian Hotels (West) Ltd has inched up 6.73% and 159.83% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Asian Hotels (West) Ltd stood at Rs 20.5 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 81.58% year-on-year, and rallying 64.26% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 37 crore, expanding by 16.49% YoY and plunging by 27.92% sequentially. Total expenses reduced by 11.08% to Rs 68.96 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 15.14 crore, softening 6.72% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 6.06% to Rs 435.39 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 63.27% to Rs 64.98 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 16113% to Rs 182.46 crore, and PBT soared 89.62% to Rs 84.55 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 202.91 crore in FY26, as against Rs 138.35 crore in FY25.
