Polychem Ltd share price gained 3.76% to Rs 2044.1 after the company`s net profit tanked by 151.08% to Rs 0.71 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 3.97% to Rs 12.04 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Commodity Chemicals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.63 lakh crore, rising 9.91%. It has softened by 1.41% over last one week and crept higher by 0.15% in last one month while the market capitalization of Polychem Ltd has improved by 0.44% and 0.34% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Polychem Ltd stood at Rs 1.04 crore in Q2 FY26, plunging by 80.95% year-on-year, and tumbling by 18.11% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, jumping 33.33% YoY and crashing by 375.00% sequentially. Total expenses went up by 10.47% to Rs 12.35 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 5.34 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 30.56% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.93 crore, easing 6.63% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 4.92% to Rs 42.84 crore, while net profit surged by 677.08% to Rs 29.84 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 30% to Rs 28.93 crore, and PBT surged 667.85% to Rs 36.78 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 0.89 crore in FY26, as against Rs 2.12 crore in FY25. Polychem Ltd nosedived by 22.72% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
