NTC Industries Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.35% to Rs 143.9 after the company`s net profit inched up 7.18% to Rs 6.12 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 23.10% to Rs 21.21 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Cigarettes & Tobacco Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 47288.52 crore, tumbling by 26.15%. It has softened by 4.25% over last one week and dropped by 14.04% in last one month while the market capitalization of NTC Industries Ltd has slipped by 0.86% and 9.13% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of NTC Industries Ltd stood at Rs 8.12 crore in Q2 FY26, easing 7.41% year-on-year, and rising 9.29% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3 crore, rallying 96.57% YoY and nosediving by 23.89% sequentially. Total expenses slumped by 24% to Rs 19.0 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 7.94 crore, growing marginally by 1.28% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 0.62 crore, jumping 14.81% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations soared by 113.87% to Rs 97.44 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 72.03% to Rs 19.56 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 537% to Rs 9.09 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 79.16% to Rs 25.62 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 8.03 crore in FY26, as against Rs 2.07 crore in FY25. NTC Industries Ltd nosedived by 13.50% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.05% during the same period.
