Semac Construction Ltd share price inched up 1.54% to Rs 319.0. The Company`s net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 91.19% to Rs 0.4 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 59.37% to Rs 30.42 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.26 lakh crore, tanking 17.89%. It has slipped by 0.59% over last one week and moved up slightly by 0.56% in last one month while the market capitalization of Semac Construction Ltd has improved by 1.54% and 20.21% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Semac Construction Ltd stood at Rs 1.02 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 26.09% year-on-year, and tumbling by 71.10% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, rallying 77.55% YoY and nosediving by 125.14% sequentially. Total expenses plunged by 57.79% to Rs 30.01 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 20.97 crore, plunging by 65.18% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 6.18 crore, inching up 2.32% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations soared by 35.57% to Rs 172.84 crore, while net profit tanked by 81.69% to Rs 5.84 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 4120% to Rs 8.52 crore, and PBT collapsed by 77.54% to Rs 7.35 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 2.69 crore in FY26, as against Rs 18.64 crore in FY25. Semac Construction Ltd crashed 39.84% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.05% during the same period.

Semac Construction Ltd., formerly Semac Consultants Limited, announced that its Board of Directors approved the re-appointment of Mr. Harivansh Dalmia as Whole Time Director for a further term of five years, effective August 29, 2026, subject to member approval at the company`s upcoming AGM. Mr. Dalmia’s appointment is related to Abhishek Dalmia, Chairman and Managing Director, and Mrs. Deepali Dalmia, Director of the company.
