Vedanta Resources Limited disclosed that all encumbrances on equity shares of Vedanta Limited held by its subsidiaries, Twin Star Holdings Ltd., Welter Trading Limited, and Vedanta Holdings Mauritius II Limited, have been released with effect from August 7, 2026, following the complete repayment and settlement of US$550 million in Guaranteed Senior Bonds due 2031 issued by Vedanta Resources Finance II plc. The release of encumbrances, previously disclosed in filings dated December 4, 2024, and October 29, 2025, was related to conditions stipulated in the bond terms.

Vedanta Resources Limited announced the release of encumbrances on equity shares held by various entities, including Twin Star Holdings Limited, Vedanta Holdings Mauritius Limited, and Vedanta Holdings Mauritius II Limited, as of August 7, 2026, following the repayment of a US$500 million facility agreement. The release affects a total of 2,139,651,763 shares, representing approximately 54.72% of Vedanta Limited`s outstanding equity. Additionally, all encumbrances on the equity shares of four demerged entities – Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited, Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited, Vedanta Power Limited, and Vedanta Iron and Steel Limited – have also been released.

Vedanta has announced to demerge its surplus real estate assets accumulated at prominent locations across India into Vedanta Property Platforms (VPPL). The proposed demerger will enable to unlock value out of these surplus assets.The demerger is planned to be a vertical split, wherein for every 20 shares of Vedanta, the shareholders of Vedanta will receive 1 share of VPPL.The surplus real estate portfolio to be demerged comprises of ~ 2,200 acres of industrial land and ~ 55,000 sq feet for residential/ commercial properties.

Vedanta will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 30 July 2026.

Vedanta announced that the Annual General Meeting(AGM) of the company will be held on 14 July 2026.
