Somany Ceramics Ltd share price inched up 2.03% to Rs 510.55. The Company`s net profit softened by 8.48% to Rs 34.23 crore, while revenue from operations eased by 8.35% to Rs 744.2 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Ceramics industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 24186.78 crore, slipping 4.22%. It has improved by 2% over last one week and advanced by 9.62% in last one month while the market capitalization of Somany Ceramics Ltd has marginally improved by 1.49% and 12.87% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Somany Ceramics Ltd stood at Rs 49.78 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 337.05% year-on-year, and declining 8.09% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 83 crore, expanding by 78.63% YoY and declining 7.28% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 8.10% to Rs 691.89 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 150.56 crore, inching up 2.16% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 99.43 crore, improving by 8.25% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 4.81% to Rs 2770.51 crore, while net profit soared by 27.75% to Rs 74.07 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 22807% to Rs 246.43 crore, and PBT soared 27.52% to Rs 108.65 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 246.76 crore in FY26, as against Rs 141.18 crore in FY25. Somany Ceramics Ltd declined by 2.57% in last one year, performing in line with the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.04% during the same period.

Somany Ceramics will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 12 August 2026.

Somany Ceramics has further acquired 18,00,000 11% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 1.80 crore in Sudha Somany Ceramics (SSCPL), a subsidiary of the company, by way of rights issue on 10 June 2026.

Somany Ceramics announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 15 May 2026, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 2 per equity Share (i.e. 100%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Net profit of Somany Ceramics rose 77.23% to Rs 37.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 21.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 6.02% to Rs 811.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 765.86 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.For the full year,net profit rose 35.16% to Rs 81.19 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 60.07 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.
