Central Bank of India informed the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited that the United Forum of Bank Unions, comprising AIBEA, AIBOC, BEFI, NCBE, AIBOA, INBEF and INBOC, has served notice of a planned strike on September 11, 2026, September 28-30, 2026, and a continuous strike from October 26, 2026, to support various demands.

Central Bank of India announced the promotion of Shri Jai Shankar Prasad to General Manager, Customer Care Department (CCD), effective September 1, 2026, according to a filing with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
