Unichem Laboratories Ltd share price ticked higher by 4.05% to Rs 507.95 after the company`s net profit surged by 280.11% to Rs 41.47 crore, while revenue from operations increased 10% to Rs 632.62 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Pharmaceuticals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 24.56 lakh crore, easing 4.63%. It has improved by 0.56% over last one week and heading higher by 13.27% in last one month while the market capitalization of Unichem Laboratories Ltd has inched up 1.65% and 40.05% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Unichem Laboratories Ltd stood at Rs 48.99 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 643.13% year-on-year, and surging by 160.72% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 54 crore, jumping 246.71% YoY and rallying 124.41% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 6.19% to Rs 592.62 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 190.02 crore, inching up 3.25% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 103.31 crore, improving by 11.27% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 4.31% to Rs 2201.85 crore, while net profit jumped 83.86% to Rs 252.84 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 22910% to Rs 121.11 crore, and PBT surged 89.13% to Rs 292.38 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 3.64 crore in FY26, as against Rs 7.02 crore in FY25. Unichem Laboratories Ltd inched up 3.10% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.56% during the same period.
