BATA INDIA LIMITED announced that Ashish Arora will resign as Vice President - India Distribution and SEA Wholesale Development to pursue career opportunities outside the company, with his cessation effective October 16, 2026.

Bata India Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Siddarth Madhavan as Product and Consumer Lead – North Star, effective September 21, 2026, subject to completion of joining formalities. Mr. Madhavan joins Bata from Adidas, where he previously led the category for Specialist Sports, and brings 10 years of merchandising experience in footwear.

Bata India Limited informed the Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange of India Limited, and The Calcutta Stock Exchange Limited that Badri Beriwal will resign as Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer to pursue opportunities outside the company, effective September 14, 2026.

Bata India will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 11 August 2026.

Bata India today announced the appointment of Sanjay Rao as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bata India. He succeeds Gunjan Shah, who will conclude his tenure upon completion of his five-year mandate leading the business. Rao brings more than two decades of retail and consumer leadership experience across India, South Asia, China and Europe. He joins Bata India from Nike, where he most recently served as Senior Director, Nike Retail, overseeing the France and Benelux markets. Prior to Nike, Rao spent several years with Inditex, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Zara`s business in India through its joint venture with the Tata Group. He subsequently held senior leadership positions across India, South Asia and China. Rao has also served as Country Director for Guess in France and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
