The South Indian Bank Ltd. announced that its Nomination and Remuneration Committee has allotted 11,14,858 equity shares on August 24, 2026, to eligible grantees upon exercise of stock options under the SIB ESOS Scheme – 2008, receiving a total of Rs 93,59,500.40, Rs 21,45,000.00, Rs 12,96,328.00, Rs 1,15,81,080.00 and Rs 50,399.00 from Tranche 12, Tranche 13, Tranche 14, Tranche 15 and Tranche 16 respectively; consequently, the issued and subscribed capital of the bank increased to Rs 2,61,93,01,068.00 divided into 2,61,93,01,068 equity shares of Re. 1 each.

The South Indian Bank Ltd. announced revisions to its Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rates (MCLR) effective August 20, 2026, with the overnight MCLR set at 8.15%, the one-month MCLR at 8.50%, the three-month MCLR at 9.20%, the six-month MCLR at 9.25%, and the one-year MCLR at 9.45%, according to a regulatory filing with the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and BSE Ltd.
