Megastar Foods Limited informed the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited that the trading window for its securities will be closed from October 1, 2026, until 48 hours after the un-audited financial results for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2026, become generally available, in accordance with SEBI regulations and the company’s code of conduct.

Megastar Foods Ltd share price inched up 0.34% to Rs 322.8. The Company`s net profit softened by 0.45% to Rs 2.23 crore, while revenue from operations eased by 9.24% to Rs 132.57 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Other Food Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 35862.36 crore, heading higher 13.08%. It has eased by 2.44% over last one week and gained upto 2.94% in last one month while the market capitalization of Megastar Foods Ltd has slipped by 2.77% and 5.61% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Megastar Foods Ltd stood at Rs 3.05 crore in Q2 FY26, expanding by 45.93% year-on-year, and declining 0.65% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 7 crore, rising 7.09% YoY and tumbling by 24.79% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 8.02% to Rs 127.4 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 108.65 crore, inching up 1.55% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 3.15 crore, improving by 9% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations soared by 31.31% to Rs 361.01 crore, while net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 40.03% to Rs 3.79 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1279% to Rs 21.81 crore, and PBT plunged by 36.01% to Rs 5.26 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 9.9 crore in FY26, as against Rs 16.23 crore in FY25. Megastar Foods Ltd surged by 39.02% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.04% during the same period.

Megastar Foods will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 12 August 2026.

Net profit of Megastar Foods rose 70.99% to Rs 2.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 1.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 20.33% to Rs 146.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 121.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.For the full year,net profit rose 145.38% to Rs 9.30 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 3.79 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.
