Insolation Energy Ltd share price softened by 3.43% to Rs 104.3 after the company`s net profit tumbled by 45.56% to Rs 38.02 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 6.70% to Rs 740.7 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Power Generation industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.72 lakh crore, gaining 5.85%. It has slipped by 0.18% over last one week and dipped slightly by 5.01% in last one month while the market capitalization of Insolation Energy Ltd has eased by 8.23% and 18.11% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Insolation Energy Ltd stood at Rs 47.5 crore in Q2 FY26, declining 8.74% year-on-year, and tumbling by 44.95% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 67 crore, surging by 21.12% YoY and nosediving by 39.88% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 1.83% to Rs 685.46 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 588.27 crore, slightly declining by 4.81% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 18.18 crore, expanding by 8.93% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations witnessed a strong growth of 80.93% to Rs 1333.76 crore, while net profit surged by 126.39% to Rs 125.58 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 7910% to Rs 152.68 crore, and PBT surged 126.64% to Rs 153.05 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 26.52 crore in FY26, as against Rs 30.27 crore in FY25. Insolation Energy Ltd crashed 52.27% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.04% during the same period.

InsolaƟon Energy Limited announced the allotment of 2,500 fully paid up equity shares of Re. 1 face value each under the InsolaƟon Energy Employee Stock Op Ɵon Plan 2024 (“ESOP 2024”/“Plan”), increasing the company’s issued and paid-up equity share capital from Rs 22,04,49,375 divided into 22,04,49,375 equity shares to Rs 22,04,51,875 divided into 22,04,51,875 equity shares.
