NTPC Green Energy announced that 150 MW solar out of the total installed capacity of 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan of project Sixteen Renewable Power, a step down subsidiary of the company`s joint venture ONGC NTPC Green, is declared on commercial operation with effect from 18 April 2026. With this development, the current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group stands at 10,126.40 MW. With the addition of the above, the total installed capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group will increase to 10,276.40 MW.

NTPC Green Energy (subsidiary of NTPC) announced the declaration of commercial operations of the following projects of its wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy:(i) The twelfth and the last part capacity of 78.02 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project located in Gujarat, w.e.f. 31 March 2026. (ii) The sixth part capacity of 90 MW out of 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project located in Gujarat, 31 March 2026. The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group stands at 9,907.68 MW and the total installed capacity at 10,075.70 MW. NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy (NGEL), has executed a Green Ammonia Purchase Agreement (GAPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on 30 March 2026 for supply of Green Ammonia under the SIGHT Scheme of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, Government of India. The agreement entails the supply of 70,000 MTPA of Green Ammonia by NTPC REL to M/s Krishna Phoschem, located at Meghnagar, Madhya Pradesh for which SECI is the intermediary procurer. NTPC Green Energy announced that the second part capacity of 91.6 MW out of 250 MW Solar PV Project located in Andhra Pradesh of Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of its joint venture ONGC NTPC Green , is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 27 February 2026. The commercial operation of first part capacity of 158.4 MW was declared on 20 February 2026. The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group is 9201.08 MW. NTPC Green Energy announced that the first part capacity of 50 MW out of 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-II located in Gujarat of NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of 26 February 2026. The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group stands at 9151.08 MW.
