Gem Aromatics Ltd share price dropped 5.90% to Rs 170.55 after the company`s net profit tumbled by 879.21% to Rs 7.87 crore, while revenue from operations slipped 10.47% to Rs 98.85 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. It has eased by 0.10% over last one week and rose by 12.48% in last one month while the market capitalization of Gem Aromatics Ltd has slipped by 6.60% and 10.35% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Gem Aromatics Ltd stood at Rs 8.54 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 179.15% year-on-year, and nosediving by 311.91% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3 crore, tumbling by 76.82% YoY and tanking 79.56% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 0.93% to Rs 104.67 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 99.04 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 29.91% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 7.06 crore, jumping 14.61% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tumbled 27.28% to Rs 366.47 crore, while net profit tanked by 97.32% to Rs 1.43 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 10134% to Rs 39.85 crore, and PBT collapsed by 91.45% to Rs 6.36 crore compared to previous TTM. The company`s consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 29.6 crore in FY26, as against Rs 24.92 crore in FY25. Gem Aromatics Ltd nosedived by 46.55% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
