I don't have my Login id/Username?
You would have received a Welcome letter & Email from HDFC Securities with the Login / Username details post account opening. Incase you have not received the same; you can contact customer care (link of customer care page) for retrieving the same.
Where do I enter my Username/Login id & password to logon to my trading account?
Click on the TRADE NOW button which is available on the top hand band on right side on website. Enter username/Login id & continue with entering the password.
I have not received my online trading password OR do not remember my password? How do I generate a fresh password.
One can instantly generate the password Online by following the below steps.
Step 1: Enter Username/ Login id & Bank Customer id (Mandatory fields)
Step 2: Enter your HDFC Net Banking Password (received in Net Banking Kit)
Step 3: Enter your new trading password.
I want to have fresh password dispatched to my address.
You can place a request with contact customer care department (https://www.hdfcsec.com/article/customercare-3105) for a fresh password. You would receive the same within 7 working days.
I am able to login into my account however I am logged out frequently.
If there is no activity in the logged in section of our website for 5 minutes, you will be logged out for security reasons. You will need to login again to access your HDFC Securities account.
Where do I find2 Factor Authentication(2FA) Login ?
On entering successful Login Id and Password, OTP based 2 Factor Authentication(2FA) will be asked to customer. OTP will be generated and will be send on customer's registered mobile no. and email Id. With correct OTP, customer will be logged in.
Is OTP available for entire day ?
No, it will be generated for each login.
Do i need 2 Factor Authentication(2FA) for MPIN, Fingerprint and Face ?
2 Factor Authentication(2FA) is implemented for traditional login, for MPIN and Biometric its not required.
