Step 3 : Attest the following documents with the filled Account Opening Form and Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) form

· 1 Photo.
· PAN Card Copy. 
· Valid Passport copy. 
· Valid Visa copy. 
. Valid OCI Card / PIO Card Copy. (If Passport is other than Indian Passport).
. Valid Resident Card / Permit Copy/ Civil ID Card.
· Overseas Address Proof.
· Indian Address Proof. (Mandatory)

NRO Customer can trade in Derivative Segment through NRO account only.

Important Note :

1) At the time of account opening, customer physical presence in India is mandatory.
2) Customer Indian Address Proof is mandatary for opening Trading Account.
2) Customer will receive welcome kit; E-broking Details; etc at Customer Indian Address only.
3) HDFC Securities can not offer online platform to US and Canada based NRI Customer but customer can communicate and trade through HDFC Securities Relationship Manager.


Account Opening and other charges:

· Account Opening Charges (One time): Rs 2,500/- .
· PIS Approval Issuance Fee (One time): Rs 1,000/-.
· Brokerage: 0.75 % flat rate. 
· Securities Transaction Tax (STT) is 0.1% on the transaction value. 
· Goods & Service Tax (GST) is 18 % - As applicable.






Annual Maintenance Charges:

PIS (Portfolio Investment Scheme) Account: Rs 1,000/- .
Demat Account Maintenance Charges is waiver only for 1st year, from second year onwards it will be charges as Rs 750 /-.

Tax Details : Tax Identification Number & Residency Country Name will be required .
