Introducing the New Position Page in the InvestRight App: Smarter Trading, Better Insights
At InvestRight, we’re committed to simplifying trading for our users. Our latest update brings you the New Position Page which is designed to enhance your trading experience and help you make better, faster decisions.
Trading can be complex, but managing your positions shouldn’t be. Whether you’re trading intraday or holding overnight, the Position Page provides a clearer picture of your trades, helping you act smarter.
Let’s look at key Features of the New Position Page
1. Overall & Today’s Positions tab You can track both Today’s and Overall Positions, making it easy to manage multiple trades without jumping between different screens.

- Overall Position: This section displays all your current open positions, combining both carry-forward trades and any new trades you’ve taken today. It shows the actual average profit or loss across all these trades.
- Today’s Position: This section only displays the positions you’ve initiated today. It also includes any carry-forward positions that were squared off today. This section is primarily designed for advanced F&O traders who need precise intraday tracking. If you’re a retail trader, you can focus on the Overall Position section.
Let’s understand this with an example, if Today we buy 1 lot (25qty) of Nifty 24000 Dec CE contract at 100, it will show in Overall and Today’s both screens.
Tomorrow this position will only show in Overall Section and Today’s will be blank. Later if we add another lot (25qty) of the same contract at 120, our Overall section will show 2 lots (50qty) at 110 average price but Today’s section will only show 1 lot (25qty) at 120 average price.
2. Instant P&L Insights Timing is critical in trading, and real-time data is key. With our P&L Tracker, you can instantly view your Realized and Unrealized P&L, helping you make quick decisions and avoid potential losses.
